Our teachers Smt. Chandraprabha K, Sri Ganapathi Bhat S, Sri Radhakrishna M, Sri Raghavendra K, Sri Bhaskaran A, Sri Vasantharaja V.P. and Sri Purushothaman E.V. took part in this mission.
Apart from these
Sri Pushpangadan A, Sri Jose John, Smt. Jayanthi Y.K. also visited the houses of the students to study their socio-economic background and have a personal acquaintance with the parents.

ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಏಕಾಂಗಿತನ.
ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ
ಪಟಪಟ ಮಾತಾಡುವ,
ಬಾಯ್ದೆರೆ
ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ದಂಗಾಗದ ಮಗುವಿಗೆ
ಲಿಖಿತ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಅಂಕಗಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ
ಹಿನ್ನಡೆ.
ಹೀಗೆ
ಬಿಡಿಸಲಾಗದ ಕಗ್ಗಂಟುಗಳ ಒಗಟುಗಳನ್ನು

ತಿಕ್ಕಿ ತೊಳೆದು
ಬೆಳ್ಳಗಾಗಿಸಲು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವೆನಿಸುವ
ಬಡತನದ ಕೊಚ್ಚೆ, ಜಗವನ್ನೇ ಗೆಲ್ಲುವ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ
ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯಗಳಿದ್ದರೂ ದುಶ್ಚಟಗಳ
ದಾಸರಾದ ರಕ್ಷಕರ ನಡುವೆ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ
ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯ ಮಗು,
ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಯರಗಲಿದ
ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಬಂಧುಗಳ ಔದಾರ್ಯದ ನೆರಳು
ಬಿಸಿಲಿನಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಲುಗುವ ಬಾಲ್ಯ-
ಹೀಗೆ ಸಾಲುಸಾಲಾಗಿ
ದುರಿತ ದುಮ್ಮಾನಗಳ ಸಂತೆ...
ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ
ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ವಿನೂತನ ಯೋಜನೆಯಾದ
"ಮಗುವನ್ನು
ಅರಿಯಲು" ಎನ್ನುವ
ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿಯುವ
ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಗೃಹ ಸಂದರ್ಶನ ಯೋಜನೆಯ
ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ತಮ್ಮ
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರ
ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದಾಗ ಅನಾವರಣ
ಗೊಂಡ ಕಟುಸತ್ಯಗಳಿವು.
ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಮೂಲೆಯ
ಹನಿಯನ್ನು ಜಿನುಗಲೂ ಬಿಡಲಾಗದ,
ಎಡಗೈಯ ಕಿರುಬೆರಳಿನಿಂದ
ಒರೆಸಲೂ ಆಗದಂತಹ ಮುಜುಗರವೋ,
ಸಂಕಟವೋ ಹೇಳಲಾಗದ
ಸಂದಿಗ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ.
'ಹಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವಗೆ
ಕಡಲೆಯಿಲ್ಲ, ಕಡಲೆಯಿದ್ದವಗೆ
ಹಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ'ದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಕೆಲವೆಡೆಯಾದರೆ

ಅಂಧಕಾರಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಅಲ್ಲಲ್ಲಿ
ಮಿನುಗುವ ಹೊಂಗಿರಣಗಳು!
ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿ
ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಬಲವೀಯುವ
ವಿಧವೆ ತಾಯಿ, ಆ
ಮಾತೆಯ ಪುಣ್ಯವೇ ರೂಪವೆತ್ತಂತಿರುವ
ಶ್ರಮಜೀವಿ ಮಗು- ಹಾಗೆಯೇ
ಸಕಲ ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಸಹಜ
ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಒರೆಗೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ
ಹೊಳಪುನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮಿಗಳು-
ರಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು
ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಧನ್ಯ
ಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಇಂತಹ ರನ್ನಗಳು ಅಲ್ಲಲ್ಲಿ-
ಬಿರು ಬೇಸಗೆಯ ಬೈಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ
ಬೀಸುವ ಮಂದೆಲರು.

STEPS- the programme for
Enriching the Academic competencies of students of standard Ten,
improvised and promoted by DIET and District Panchayath, Kasaragod
was initiated in GVHSS Mulleria with the Unit Test.
The performance of the
students was evaluated and a meeting of the Parents was convened on
13 August 2014. Sri Madhava Bhat K. President of PTA, presided over
the programme and appreciated the new programme and the
implementation of the same in the school.

The headmaster Sri Vishnu
Bhat A welcomed all to the programme and proposed the objectives of
the programme and put forth the details of its implementation in the
school. Sri Rathnakara M , Chairman, Education Standing Committee
(Karadka Grama Panchayath) inaugurated and wished all success to the
programme. Sri Rajesh K.V Ward Member (Karadka Grama Panchayath)
offered felicitations.

Sri Raghavendra K Senior
Teacher, presented the result analysis of the SSLC examination March
2014 before the audience. The topic was put to discussion among the
parents who put forth many valuable suggestions to further improve
the achievement to 100 % with better grades.

Sri Pushpandadan A H.S.A.,
elaborated the objectives and steps of STEPS and gave details of its
implementation of the programme in the school and solicited the
co-operation of the parents.
Smt. Chandraprabha K Senior
Asst., presented the progress of House Visit, observations of the
survey with special mention to the facilities and conditions the
students enjoy and face in the Learning Activities at home.

before the parents an overview of the performance of the students in
the Unit Test held. He advocated the need of more attention to a
number of students at school as well as at home.

Teacher, put forth our planning to enhance and enrich the level of
learning among the students and called upon the parents to present
their views to achieve the goal. Some of the parents put forward
suggestions such as extra coaching at leisure time and on holidays,
starting Corner Learning Centres at various locations and frequent
Parent Meetings.

H.S.A.,consolidated our plannings and the suggestions from the
parents so as to enable our children to achieve a better level of
Learning, better understanding and better grades in the forth coming
SSLC Examination of March 2015.

The programme wound up with a
true positive power both among the parents and the teachers to uplift
the academic level of our students in compliance with guidelines put
forth by Department.
